Linkbaiting

Link baiting?

Linkbaiting is the term used to describe interesting content written for the purpose of attracting audience. It is the art of creating content on your site that other sites will link to - naturally.

How to Create a Good LinkBait?

First: Research your market and develop content that is relevant to this audience. Chose a title that would immediately appeal to that target market.

Second: Create a page on the main site that looks like an ordinary article page. Use images where appropriate.

Third: Invite all your fiends to check your site, or have a pre release or some forum posting. This is the most tedious part of the linkbait campaign.

Fourth: Be patient and watch the traffic swell.

Increase Your SALES

People will surely contact your customer service to ask questions about your services or products. Did you know you can increase your orders by training your customer service to actually sell products? You should include your signature file with all the questions you answer by e-mail. Your signature file should be no longer than 4-5 lines, 65 characters per line. Include your contact information, business name and an attention getting headline. Tell people about the new products and services that you offer after you're done answering their question(s) by phone. If they have already bought products from you in the past, offer them add-on or back end products. If you're using FAQ "Frequently Asked Questions", include your banner ad on top of your FAQ site. You could also include a subscription form for your free e-zine on the site as well.

Viral Makerketing: Resources

A slow and steady way to catch people’s attention online is to provide good value at no charge, without necessarily trying to make it on media circus – creating attention naturally.

Online graphic designers create templates, programmers give away plug-ins, and writers give away words. All in exchange for traffic and attention.

Now days, free still works, but it must be something very good, and very relevant. You will also find you need to “sell” your free

Make your resources worthy of attention.

Viral Marketing: Categories

There are all sorts of ways to get links in the blogosphere, but it’s
helpful to place the various strategies into four categories

1. Publicity Stunts
2. Resources
3. Irresistible Offers
4. Meme Propagation

The first category contains explosive techniques, but also the most potential risk; the second is lacking in sexiness, but is a slow and steady performer over the long ter, and the last two categories requires real ingenuity and a bit of luck, as anything with the potential for life changing levels of attention demands.
